Section for Public Management Practice
American Society for
Good Governance Worldwide is the official Web site of ASPA’s Section for Public Management Practice and operates as both a product (online publication) and a service (interactive professional network). It’s also uniquely structured as a collaborative effort to function as a volunteer undertaking. That is, without the direct support of ASPA staff, but rather under the direction of SPMP and others within the community who contribute content and moderate and participate in online forums and exchanges.
The site is led by a volunteer Managing Editor (currently the Section’s Chairperson
– Warren Master), who is assisted by a small Steering Group comprised of key stakeholders
and others with special knowledge and skills. The Steering Group will regularly advise

It is also the Managing Editor’s responsibility to organize an inclusive Board of Editors (comprised of both ASPA members and strategic alliance representatives) that will advise on prospective content for the online site – including links to other sites, extent and targets of global network, social/professional networking, etc. – and the formulation of an editorial calendar and a call for content for each calendar year. It meets virtually and periodically as needed to maintain proper and current communication.
